Also a really good idea! Whenever I'm going through a tough time, like an extended tough time, I try to make a list of three great things about each day... that kind of positive thinking is really transformative when you're knee-deep in crap.
Sounds loooooovely. I think you know how to spend days well.
One problem I always had with painting outside, and it may just be that I live near marshy swampland, is little flying bugs deciding to get stuck in the wet paint. Still enjoyable though, even if removing them sort of makes things messy.
I'm about to head outside in a few to try and get my mind off things.
I know exactly what you mean. I have to pick my days right... otherwise I'll spend half my time trying to get a mosquito, flying ants, little grass, or leaves out of the paint. But the breeze seems calm enough today, and it's not too too humid outside... so we'll see.
.....I also left out how listening to David Byrne makes me feel happy when I'm bummed.
